The 20 for 20 Literacy Campaign is a community-powered initiative created by award-winning author Kentrell Martin and Shelly’s Adventures to ensure students at underfunded schools receive access to meaningful literacy experiences.

Due to ongoing budget cuts, many Title 1 schools are unable to afford author visits — and when that happens, students often miss out on experiences that inspire confidence, creativity, and a love for reading. When Kentrell is already visiting a city, he makes it a priority to visit as many of these schools for free as time allows — because it’s not the students’ fault, and they deserve the experience too.

📚 What Your Sponsorship Funds

Each $500 sponsorship directly supports:

  • 🏫 1 FREE author visit to a Title 1 school

  • 📖 50 children’s books donated to that school

  • ✍🏾 All books autographed for students

  • 🏷 A custom “Sponsored by [Your Business Name]” sticker placed inside every book
