Shelly’s Adventures offers flexible booking options to help schools, libraries, camps, and community programs bring an engaging ASL literacy experience to their students.

Each visit is designed to be interactive, educational, and high-energy. Students participate through storytelling, movement, American Sign Language, Q&A, and audience participation.

Standard Author Visit

A full Shelly’s Adventures school visit includes an interactive presentation led by award-winning children’s author Kentrell Martin.

Students will learn American Sign Language through storytelling, character engagement, movement, and live participation.

Local or Regional Visit

Schools located within a nearby travel range may qualify for a local or regional visit option.

This is a great choice for schools looking to bring the Shelly’s Adventures Experience to students while keeping the visit simple and convenient.

  • Community-based events

Partner School Visit

Schools may partner with another nearby school on the same day to make the visit more accessible.

This option works well when two schools in the same area want to schedule Shelly’s Adventures on the same day.

School Fundraiser Visit

Shelly’s Adventures also offers an in-school fundraiser option where families can order books connected to the visit.

This option helps promote literacy, supports student engagement, and gives schools the opportunity to receive a donated Shelly’s Adventures book set for their library or classrooms.
